This week, The Startup Club features Travv - a startup aiming at creating a fundamental shift in the tourism sector by delivering meaningful travel experiences for tourists while generating income opportunities for local communities, wherever the platform is operated. The CEO, Amr Ahmed provided us with the company's general background and opened up about his journey ever since he embarked on the entrepreneurial endeavour.
Travv was founded in February 2021 and is currently seeking for $50,000 fund. The initial targeted location is set to be in the Frontier Market in Africa. The company believes technology can play a vital role in providing new income opportunities for local communities while also providing better richer travel experiences for tourists. Ahmed is working on establishing the company's webpage and social media channels.
When was asked what made Ahmed become an entrepreneur, the CEO revealed that it is highly rewarding to see one's products have a positive impact on the market. He also found many moving parts particularly challenging, such as goals are set high, resources are limited and new challenges present themselves every day.
Regarding funding process, finding the right investor that is aligned with our mission is easier said than done. In fact, this is one of the ultimate most challenging tasks for new comers according to Travv's CEO. Despite the hardship, he is thankful for this journey of being an entrepreneur because the feeling of building something new and challenging himself really pays off.
