1. Tell us about your company.

Dr. Christian Marty - Evulpo is an AI-powered e-learning platform that's already online in seven countries (Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and England). We support both schools (teachers and classrooms) and families (parents and kids). Our platform offers curriculum-driven content for kids aged 9 to 19, with lessons that are not only personalized but also gamified for a truly impactful learning experience. In partnership with globally recognized universities, we ensure measurable progress in kids' learning. At the same time, we ease the workload and stress for those around the kids—teachers and parents—giving them more time and space to focus on their most important tasks. We’re not just building an e-learning platform; we’re redefining education with an AI-powered solution that’s set to revolutionize the way the world learns. Big things are coming…!

2. What made you become an entrepreneur?

Dr. Christian Marty - It was a bit of luck, a bit of destiny… and honestly, a lot of random factors. What exactly pushed me? Who knows! All I remember is that while working on my PhD in History and Philosophy, I needed some extra cash. So, I kicked off a tutoring business, and at some point, it just clicked: why not build a full-on e-learning platform? It was the obvious next move, really! Everything kind of fell into place...

3.What is the most challenging part of running your own startup?

Dr. Christian Marty - As a philosopher, I’d say the "biggest challenge" in startup life is nothing compared to the real stuff happening in the world. Sure, there’s the pressure of a shrinking runway, the looming funding round, and figuring out marketing and sales in markets that are as culturally different as night and day. But honestly? It’s all just a game. When you look at the bigger picture, it’s pretty easy to keep things in perspective.

4.What is the biggest challenge you have faced when looking for funding?

Dr. Christian Marty - Well, in the early-stage e-learning sector, the adoption of tools—and the revenue growth that comes with it—just isn’t as explosive as, say, the FinTech sector. That definitely makes the whole fundraising thing a bit tricky. But here’s the twist: the potential of our tool is HUGE, so honestly, we’ve never really run into major issues when it comes to fundraising. Let’s just hope it stays that way.

5. What is the most rewarding aspect of entrepreneurship?

Dr. Christian Marty - Well, compared to other jobs in our capitalist economy, it gives you a hell of a lot of freedom. I’m talking about freedom from the usual constraints—no rigid rules, no set 9-to-5 grind, no corporate red tape. You get to create your own path. But it’s also the freedom to do extraordinary things, to push the boundaries of what’s possible, to shape your own reality. It’s a bit like Isaiah Berlin’s idea of freedom: freedom from external limits and freedom to pursue something exceptional.
